Harford County Health Department to hold Free, Appointment-Only Drive Thru COVID-19 Testing Event on August 11: Registration Required.
Due to the tropical storm predicted to hit our area this week, Harford County Health Department’s COVID-19 testing scheduled for August 4 will be postponed to August 11. For those who have already registered, the Health Department will follow up with further details as soon as they know more information.
As the demand for increased COVID-19 testing continues, the Harford County Health Department, in partnership with the University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Health (UM UCH), Leidos Field at Ripken Stadium, Aberdeen Police Department, the Maryland Department of Health, and Harford County Government will provide free drive-thru COVID-19 testing for ages 12 and older. The Health Department encourages anyone who thinks they have come in close contact with anyone who has tested positive for COVID-19, has traveled out of state, or has attended a large gathering, to get tested.
The free testing will take place by appointment only on Tuesday, August 11, from 9 AM to 3 PM on the parking lot of Leidos Field at Ripken Stadium, 873 Long Drive in Aberdeen. Registration is required to reserve your place in line; register at https://crispcovid19.powerappsportals.com/new-patient/. You must arrive on time for your appointment, remain in your car at all times, and wear a mask. Identification is required and you need not be a Harford County resident to receive a test.
