Test Center

Overview and Purpose
Hours of Operation

Welcome to the Test Center at Harford Community College. The Center, located in Fallston Hall, Room 105, provides a stress-free testing environment for students. New students complete the Academic Skills Assessment in the Center. Educational and Transitional Studies students as well as those in On-Line courses test here. Credit by exam is administered here, and we provide proctoring services  for other colleges and universities. The Center also administers the GED test, the ASE, the PRAXIS and the LSAT (We don’t administer the ACT, SAT or the GRE, but we’ll be happy to help you with registration information.)

The Test Center is staffed by the Coordinator for Tutoring and Testing, a full-time assistant in Testing and Assessment, a full-time assistant in Testing and Technology and several part-time testing assistants. Any of the staff will be happy to assist you with your assessment needs. The Center subscribes to the National College Testing Association Professional Standards and Guidelines. The Center is also bound by the privacy restrictions set forth in the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act.

FALL 2009 SCHEDULE

August 31- December 14, 2009  

The College and Test Center will be closing at 4:30 pm on Wednesday, November 25, 2009
(Closed November 26-28 and December 24-January 1, 2010; NO ASA DEC 8-14) 

The Test Center will be closed on December 21, 2009; Academic Skills Assessments will be held in the Student Center, room 243 from 9 AM until 1:30 PM.

• Friday                                 8:30 a.m.- 4:30 p.m.
  (Academic Skills Assessment     9 a.m.- 1:30 p.m.)
